Project Overview of the second Phase of the Hong Kong University-Shenzhen Hospital: According to the overall project planning, the pipeline network of this system covers the science and education Complex building and the inpatient complex building, and reserves pipeline interfaces for the future.

The system is equipped with three independent collection systems, which respectively collect other garbage, kitchen waste and dirty clothing and bedding. Meanwhile, a comprehensive garbage disposal point (the first-phase disposal port) is set up at the terminal garbage transfer station. All garbage pipelines and dirty clothing and bedding pipelines are eventually collected in the garbage transfer station, waiting for final transportation and treatment.

The pneumatic garbage and bedding collection system has a total of 58 discharge ports. The system includes indoor delivery ports, pipelines and valves, air compressor units, exhaust devices, cleaning devices, purification devices, deodorization devices, exhaust gas treatment devices, compactors, garbage containers, separators, control systems, and intelligent monitoring systems (including the Internet of Things), etc.
